What is the indicator or any other signs for power steering pump failure? Mine is MINI R50, the steering make some sound everytime i steer/move to the left or right. Kindly advise.

Anyway, I did change power steering fan in less than 5 months.

Steering will become stiff or harder to turn. Some noise is normal.

Power steering wheels are widely used these days in several car models. BMW cars are also operated through power steering wheel and it is quite easier for the operator to drive the car through power steering. But, power steering has to be repair properly and even if needed, the steering wheel should be replaced whenever necessary.

the 2005 mini cooper has a recall of 150,000 miles or 15 years for free replacement of the power steering and fan, go visit a dealer
