vacuum leak after replacing alternator 2002 mini cooper

I recently removed bumper and pulled alternator out to replace and when I put it back together I then changed oil and filter. now it has a rough idle and error code for vacuum leak two codes on it. 506, and 2097. it did have the 2097 code on it. now it will die when pushing the clutch in to stop or turn and I think I hear the leak but cant id it. Any suggestions?
