Question on coolant change
 

Hi i was just wondering about refilling the r50 through the thermostat neck I opened the bleed screws and turned the ignition on but didn't start the car and turn temp on hot and fan on low my question is does it take a really long time to fill it felt like it took 10 min or more to fill and it took a long time for coolant to come out of the bleed screw under the battery tray also I must not have bled it good enough because I heard squealing probably from the water pump and one more thing is the block drain plug easy to get back in ?
