HiI have a '03 Cooper S on which 1 of the PLASTIC "bulb holders" i.e,., the square, plastic connector into which the 2 prongs of the bulb are plugged has cracked. I was able to jury-rig a fix w/ glue and electrical tape that enabled the bulb to be plugged-in & remounted in its cavity. That lasted ~ 5 months. It's now disintegrating. Is it possible to replace ONLY that square plastic connector ? The attached foto, though poorly focused, shows the part to which I am referring. I believe I can use the existing 4 wires 2 each in and out. Thanks.

You may also be able to find just the connector at a wrecker's. With luck, you can pop the electric contacts out of the plug body, and then do the same with yours and just replace the plug body.

Of course, there's no guarantee that the new plug would hold up any better than the old one. (Or, as a friend told me, "You already have used parts!")
