2004 Mini Cooper - I have replaced the window regulator assembly which worked well of a couple of weeks. Recently the window stops in the down position and won't come back up. After removing the new regulator assembly the down position is over-driving its lowered position - actually deforming the stop at the base of the track. Is there an adjustment to prevent the over travel?

No, there are only adjustments for glass fit. I would assume the motor or regulator is faulty.
