Hi nick. i have just replaced the cyl head on 2008 mini cooper clubman.
set the valve timing up with the correct tools. but having a problem with the
valvetronic shaft keeps altering advancing up is there any way this has to be set
up. fault codes 2853 2857. Thanks Greg

You may have to relearn the motor stops using a MINI scan tool. I would start there.
