Replacing hard brake lines/tubes in R53

Original owner of 2004 MCS with 120k miles. I have done almost all work myself (including new bushings, power steering rack, clutch replacement, exhaust, normal maintenance stuff...etc).

Just had a hard brake line/tube rupture due to excessive rust (Northeast Ohio loves it's salt). I am able to purchase a complete set of hard lines from an R52 but I'm not sure if they are the same (convertibles are notorious for having different routes for wires/brake lines/exhaust). These lines are in excellent condition from a south Florida car.

Has anybody had success with hand-bending the copper/nickel lines?

Thanks,
Shawn

Since you're a DIY'er I would suggest using this site here: RealOEM.com - Select Your BMW Model for comparing part numbers between different gen/model MINI's. It's a gold mine and can help you track down part numbers for parts that you may need to replace in the future. Let me know if you have any questions or need anything else.

Not sure if you're needing fronts or rears so posted it below for you:
