How do I reset/reactivate the electric power steering in a Mini Cooper 2005 Convertible? It was working properly, but after the battery was disconnected for a week, it stopped working. Any suggestions please? Thanks!

You may have a blown fuse. It should not stop working due to a battery disconnection.
