I have a 2012 Cooper S. My cover doesn't have the 2 torx screws like the one in your pics. I don't see any visible screws or bolts. How do I remove the cover to so that I can get to the spark plugs?

Your vehicle should have the same cover as the steps denoted for MKII. Can you share a photo? I may be bale to offer advice.
