Great guide, and a very easy job for a novice mechanic such as myself. That said, it does come with some risks. Started it earlier this evening but then I had one problem: the plug snapped, leaving the thread inside. What do I do? Will a fluted screw extractor do the job, or is a head off task? I'd rather avoid that if possible!

The spark plug snapped off? if that is the case, you will need a specialized extractor to remove it. If the threads stay in, you will need to remove the cylinder head.
