R53 Supercharger oil change - DIY how to & parts list
For the R53 MINI owners out there, I'm sure many of you have asked yourself should you or when should you service the supercharger. It's important to keep it properly lubed because if it's not it will cause you issues in the future. The called for service interval is about 50k miles. So, if you're doing a project and your you have access to your supercharger, it might not be a bad idea to change the oil while you're there. Otherwise, it's a pretty inexpensive service and if you have the time you can do it to give you that piece of mind.
