Removing footwell kick panel to access hood release
I am trying to fix the hood release on my R56. There is a good article about it here, but it doesn't say how to remove the left footwell kickpanel so as to get full access to the cable end and lever. The article mentions two other articles, but they do not seem to apply.
Might you have any instructions or advice on removing that panel? |

Is your hood stuck and you cannot release it in order to replace the hood release? The footwell liner can be removed in order to gain access to it to pop it open.

Also, I have seen some individuals report that they were able to get the latch to release by having someone push down quickly on the hood while you pull the latch. Sometimes that will free it up briefly in order for you to open it. If that is not what you're saying please let me know and I will see if I can assist you further.
