What is this small rubber doughnut
 

Found this under my daughters 2005 R52, anyone know what it is, it is quite soft rubber marked "mini" on both sides. Has the number "162" on one side ( could be worn ??? On the opposite side). Local parts dept have not got a scooby, but quite a young kid. It's approx 45mm x 40mm tapered in width From approx 10mm in the centre, has a couple of lugs in the inner circumference.

Welcome to the forum! I just need a little more info. About where would you say this fell off from? Under the engine in the front of the car, rear of the car?

Luccia under the front sump area but could have bounced maybe.

I must say, usually I've pretty good at finding these parts, but you've stumped me. By any chance do you see any other numbers are it other than 162? I'm wondering if it is some sort of cover that goes on a chassis part. Are you able to get under your MINI and inspect your subframe area?

Mystery solved

I took your advice and dropped the front subframe, the nearside control arm/wishbone main bush has broken up this rubber is part of that assembly. Thanks for directing me in the right area (see piccy, time for a celebratory bacon sarnie👍👍👍)
