After waiting since October the car is finally on it's way. I just reveived the following from MiniUSA:

...I can confirm that your Cooper S ordered through Tate MINI actually set sail "across the pond" to US shores on January 3rd, 2003. It's estimated date of arrival into the port of entry into Bayonne, NJ is January 13th.

Well, did your S make it across the pond?

My new Cooper S was supposed to 'hit the beach' today. With luck, I'll be cruising in high yuppie fashion in a week or so.

My Mother, not quite 5' tall drives a H1 Hummer. I'll bet the hummer and the Mini together will make a keen photo...

The car finally came in 3/1. First dealer screwed me and ordered it wit the wrong color roof, glad that mess is overwith!

Hey, is it true that you can order the Mini with your choice of flag decals on the roof? So far I've seen the Union Jack, St. Andrew's Cross and the Stars and Stripes. Are there any others?

You can also order them with a black and white checker pattern.

yes on the mini web site you can have all of the following - U.S, Union Jack, Checkered, St. Andrews, St. George's, and Canadian Flags, They are Decals so they are interchangeable.
