R52 ambient air temperature sensor location

I am looking for the ambient air temperature sensor location on my 2005 Mini Cooper Convertible. Can anyone send me pictures of where this darn thing is located?

Hello Taz! Welcome to the Pelican community. I believe the sensor is located behind the front bumper. If you look at the lower grille on the front bumper you can see it if you shine a flashlight to the left of center at the drivers side. Here is a picture below of its location from our tech article. If you need to remove it you can remove the front bumper easily by using this article here: Pelican Technical Article - Mini-R53 - Front Bumper Removal. Image below is from figure #11 in that article.
