Removed the alternator to do the SC oil change and am finding that the clearance holes for mounting the alternator allow lots of slop. How does one verify that the alternator is aligned relative to the other pulleys? Just eyeball it? It would be very easy to get it pretty far off if you're not careful. Any tips? Thanks

Hand tighten all three fasteners before the final tighten. Check that the pulley is aligned with the crank pulley. Then tighten to final torque.
