Hi i have a mini one uk 2007 1.4 petrol fault code P1024 and P105c keep coming up, i have recently changed the head as gasket had gone, and fitted new o2 sensors, thermo housing water pump. i moved the VVT motor from the old head head to the new one. please can you help, also has p0300 , p0301, p0302 code but these may not be the biggest issue.

I believe that VVT and Valvetronic are two separate issues. This fault I believe relates to the VANOS solenoids. If possible swap the intake and exhaust solenoids, clear the faults and see if the fault changes.

forgot to say these fault codes only kick in at around 2000 rpm. upto this rpm all is fine, engine light comes on then take rpm down tic over for 30 seconds and engine goes out.
