If you have to ask, you probably aren't the right one for the job. If you are a highly-skilled pro, you will know the techniques for getting a good solid vibration-resistant solder connection, and asking would be redundant.

I can solder, but not well enough for an automotive application (read that: High vibration and large temperature swings). So a good solid crimp splice is what I do. And not the cheesy yellow-covered universal splices, either! A decent quality connector of the correct size, fastened on with the proper crimping tool that applies a massive amount of force. And shrink tubing to cover the splice.

Or find a real pro, not some random stereo-installation guy.
