I am working on a 2007 MC S R56 in which the vacuum pump failed and caused the expected serious damages. The exhaust cam sprocket sheared off and for some unknown reason the crankshaft retaining bolt came loose allowing the crankshaft pulley to move away from the crankshaft far enough for the damaged timing chain to lightly scrape the inboard end of the crankshaft pulley hub. Because of these scrapes I had to use a press to remove the damaged crankshaft sprocket from the hub. My question is what is the fit between the hub and the sprocket? Is it any type of an interference fit or is it simply a slide on fit with the torque load of the crankshaft retaining bolt providing the locking to hold everything together.
