Regarding a Gen 1 R53 Mini Cooper S: Is the BMW branded serpentine belt removal tool#83-30-0-494-252-BOE the same tool as the unbranded tool #BM-B118410K you have listed for the 2002-2008 Mini S?

Hello, I have an 08 R56 turbo Mini Cooper S and i had a bad serpentine belt noise. I replaced the drive belt tensioner and while in the process noticed that the alternator pulley was not even aligned with any other pulley. We aligned it as much as possible. Ran good for about 45 minutes than shredded the belt. All pulleys and bearings are good. I am at my last end with this, and now I cant even drive it because the noise came back and it wants to eat my belt again. Any suggestions??? Please.

Serpentine Belt Alignment issues on an 08 Mini cooper S R56
I had bad clunking noise coming from my drive belt tensioner when I started the car cold. So I replaced the drive belt tensioner thinking it got old. While replacing I noticed the alternator pulley wasn't even aligned with any other pulleys. So moved the alternator over as much as possible to be aligned, got it aligned after some small modifications. Well the next morning I started my car and the noise was back and the belt started to shred. Replaced the belt hoping it had a defect, nope and the noise is back. All pulleys are in working order and bearings are good. Any help would be great this car is going to drive me nuts. I cant even drive it at the moment.
