hi my daughter has a R56 N12 mini and we changed the timing chain and guides, the Vanos solenoids and one of the cam sensors. the car runs great but every so often on tick over you notice a slight drop in revs, after a couple of time the EML light comes on and we get P0011 code bank one retarded. Any ideas..could it be the actuator...
thanks

It could be the camshaft actuator. It could be jamming. Confirm mechanical timing is OK. If so, the actuator may be at fault.
