I have a 2006 MC S 6 speed auto with shifting issues.. Trans works fine when cold but when it warms up it throws hard shifts into 2nd and then 3rd, revving high and banging onto gear. Also bangs on down shift when slowing down and from a stop while backing out of a parking spot.
It threw a EP code and went into limp mode the other day, cleared that code and its back running.
Code P2720 pressure control solenoid D -control circuit low
Code P0700 Trans control system -malfunction lamp indicator

I had previously done a fluid dilution , refilling up thru the pipe in hopes of avoiding pan removal.

Is the pressure sensor available ? Has hat fixed this issue in similar cars?

Likely being caused by low fluid or worn seals / clutches. You can monitor pressure adaptation to see if it is too high, if so, the trans is worn out.

Check the fluid level, if it's low it will cause all sorts of shifting issues. When was the last time you did a flush, not that this will solve the issue, but a place to check before replacing the transmission.
