Fuel Filler Door Won't Open
Have a 2006 Mini with 80K on it.
Went to fuel it today and the filler door would not open Could feel the lock was not released holding the door Engine was off.....doors unlocked..... Any idea of cause? Is there an override somewhere? |

Glad you figured it out. Believe it or not, this is also a common complaint for the R53 with the doors handles freezing. So if you run into this issue don't rule that possible option out as well. You may not, as they did do an update for this issue on the face lift R53 (2005 and 2006 model years). Glad you got yours resolved.
