F.S. Lycoming Airplane engine

Trying to help my boss out by selling his airplane engine for him. Pictures added 1/12/12 The engine is a Lycoming I0360 CIC. 200Hp wide deck. Total hours are 2157 1270 SMOH (since major over haul) "0" since top end done. The engine has been stored since 1990. It has NDH (no damage history) He also has logs since new. He said it would fit an RV7 or RV8 He is looking @ $8000.00 but reasonable offers will be considered. Pictures available here. airplane

I may have a buyer, but need more info.
Why did it need a major overhaul at 887hrs? Not run since 1990? It'll need to come apart again. Does it come with the injection and accessories? Or is it bare? Aircraft removed from? Date of last Annual Inspection?

Lycoming engine
Hi,
I just spoke to my boss. The engine is bare but he has all the accessories and injection. He said the aircraft that it came out of is in the log book but he can't remember what it was. Probably the easiest way to handle this is to just cut me out of being in the middle and you should talk to him personally. I will send you a PM with his contact information.

I am relisting this motor due to the bid winner flaking out on Ebay and not buying the motor. No real reason, just never paid up.
