Car Spotting...

Morning guys,

I spotted a gorgeous orange 2.4E on Stanley St, East Sydney on Sunday - perfectly polished and sounded perfect.

Anyone here?
Nick

Thread thief!!

Saw two CLs last night, 1 new SLK55, at the V8s there was a brand new 997 Carrera S absolutely covered in dust. Also a nice red Carrera in the carpark.

I didn't steal it Klaus - just borrowed...

Just spotted a silver 996 Turbo Cab - plate 'BBQ' - I'm guessing the BBQ's Galore guy, their HQ is around the corner.

Yea I was out there, at the bottom of corporate hill asleep most of the time with my feet up against the fence... finished work at 7 that morning so I wasn't quite filled with energy

Dad's company (Westpoint) is the title sponsor of DJR so I got the tickets for free... glad I didn't have to pay for them as there was no PA system so I had no idea who was winning or how many laps had passed etc. Still, was good to go to a motor race again after so long.

How long did it take you to get out of the carpark after the last race? We left 5 laps into the 2nd V8 race to beat the crowd... there would have had to be 4000 cars there and like 2 roads out... !

We left after the presentation - 10 minutes and out the gate, no dramas. Pays to wait until the end.

We were there to support one of the BR utes (the company I work for is a sponsor) and see the Porsche races. Had a great time.

I am absolutely amazed you were able to get out so quickly! I thought it would be a ***** fight...

Glad you had a good time! I was a little disappointed with the sound of the Porsches, but it was very interesting to watch how stiff they are over the kerbs. Close racing around corporate hill as well.

I know that one Anthony - It's a mate of mine (works in marrickville). It's currently for sale - he's looking at a 993TTS. He also has a couple of 356's - one gorgeous silver group sa car.
