Ball joint socket???

Ladies and Gents,

Does anyone have a ball joint socket that they would be willing to sell?

I could probably remove the ball joint in a fashion, but torquing up with a hammer and punch is best left to the professionals .

I did my (then) 34 year old ball joints without that tool. Use some penetrating oil a few times over a couple of days prior, and then heat that puppy up with a torch. A decent whack with hammer and punch works like a charm. I then had the A-arms powder coated before reassembling.

I'm told there are a few 4x4 versions of the tool that work on the p-car.

I thought someone might have one that they used once and won't need again.

Getting it off isn't a problem, it was re-torquing that I was needing it for.

I have ordered a new one from our host.
