I got my very first speeding ticket on a bike like that one, same color and everything.

I was 16, still had a paper license and was going well over 100 mph but slowed way down to take a sweeping corner, and the cop was at the other end of the corner.
if he had saw me 1/8 mile earlier I would have been in a heep-O'trouble.

No way. I have bikes that I don't ride now.

As a Honda 125 rider in that era, I looked upon those bikes with awe. Beautiful.

"...we suppose it'll be a retro version of the Grom. And that might be enough to make it a hit. It'll go on sale this year in red/white, black/white and a very Monkeyish banana yellow/white.
Ook ook."
.
That Banana Yellow for me, please.

I get the whole cool factor of the low mile barn find thing, but you are going to have to tear it completely down and replace every piece of rubber and plastic not to mention cleaning out the carbs and gas tank.
If you are into the Zen of restoring cool old thing that is great and it certainly is a very nice old bike worthy of restoring.
As for me I bet you could get a well maintained runner that you would enjoy riding for the same price.
