Cool video, you've got to start somewhere
 

Most of these fail army videos are just OK, maybe a few funny moments, some stuff that makes you cringe, and some things that make you wonder "did they need some filler to make the video longer?

But this one is pretty cool. I see a bunch of folks trying to do some cool stuff. Many of them may eventually get there, some of them may end up doing really amazing stuff and some just may never get there. And the folks that show the success side, probably spent plenty of time doing the fail side before they got there.

There's only one way to get there and that's to try and fail and keep trying until you get it. The mountain biking down the luge track looked like a thrill ride or a death ride, I'm not sure which.

I tried walking over a slimy log in a stagnate river back in High School, fell darn near up to my neck in the algae muck.

Fun times.

Also went down a steep hill on my bike and taped the front brakes, not a scratch but pride was hurt.

So many other times got away with some pretty amazing stuff.

You don't know what you can do until you try.

Learn by your failures, that's for sure.

Odd thing was this +20 foot high diving board at a motel in Pennsylvania when I was 14-15 years old. The swan dives I thought were best and worst were not the same ones the two early 20 year old guys cheering me on thought were best/worst. No one had videos back the the mid 1970's.
