You click on a link to ppot, and look at the post, but they all look different. There are post you haven't seen, and some post that you haven't seen in a long time.

Interested in why someone has resurrected the threads, and thinking "wow, where have I been in this flurry of new and old activity?" only to realize that there is no new life in the threads, only that the link you clicked on took you back to page 16 for some reason.

Today's REVENENT thread revival threw me for a loop.
(good movie btw- the broken leg healing comment came in handy when I was watching it).

I need help but am too far gone.

You know you're an "addict" when you see a thread title and can determine what user wrote it, without clicking it!

You know you are addicted when you see a thread and who initiated it and know you don't want to open it!:D

Most of the time I can predict the ones created by Vash....

I've been fortunate as I've come here for 911 advice, and the one I have has worked so well (knock on wood), I've been able to hang out here. Now I can't quit.

I shouldn't even speaketh that "car works so well" nonsense. Famous last words.

Oh yeah, and it has the original 78 head studs! What could go wrong :D

I find myself doing this more in PARF than PPOT, or worse yet the good threads that turn into a poo flinging contest by the same suspects.

Open it 2 days later, and: Bingo

I just wanted to see who else was...I'm not really...I've quit dozens of times ;)

.....some of us are addicts and don't really post often or at all.

I'm here daily and just like to keep up with what you boys and from time to time girls are up to. Lot's of interesting, smart and witty folks here.

As far as Vash goes...just saw a thread about woks and China.... gotta be Vash ;) perfect..

Signs of addiction:
You say that you are tired of X and quit and you are NEVER coming back but, lo and behold, you come back. I've seen this a few times.

You break into a cold sweat if the server goes down. Once back on, you feel the need to ask what happened and what did you miss?

The thought of the new Pelican owners shutting down the BBS worries you.
