FedEx RANT!!!

A bit pissed right now, have a few bits coming from a few fellow pelicans. FedEx didn't deliver, hell, they didn't even come to the door. And have sent them back to the sellers. I had someone looking for the delivery, saw the FedEx truck pull up, but the FedEx driver never got out of the truck, and someone was waiting in front of the door for the packages. At that time, I got e-mails saying it was deliverable, and generally, if they can't deliver, they leave a call tag on the door, course, hard to do when you don't get out of the damn truck. That is twice this week that has happened. Not the sellers fault, but is FedEx's fault. FedEx had the correct info, including my phone number, just didn't deliver:mad:.

I called FedEx, they claimed that the 1st one was refused, that is total BS:mad:.
FedEx's response is for me to file a claim for a shipping refund:mad:. I've been dealing with them for years, never before have I had crap like this happen...

I have had a problem with every shipping company

If there is a delivery problem in my case, it's usually a FedEx signature required one. You might wonder that since the drivers have a quota that waiting for someone to answer the door will cost too much time so they sit in the truck and blow it off.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit. Does Amazon use FedEx? Not much and it's usually 3rd party sellers.

Amazon uses FedEx, UPS, USPS and their own drivers.

Have had no bad experiences with any delivery service.
They drop off, ring the doorbell, and spirit away.
I had one UPS box that was partially ripped open but all contents were in there.
.
So if a person has a busted up container and broken contents, the delivery services run you through a labyrinth to prove that it was there fault?
Probably why they run off so quickly.

Why did they return it??? Usually they hold it at their facility for you to pick up. This is unusual.

Interesting. I didn't know FedEx drivers had a quota... It all makes sense now though. 3/5 days I would not receive my packages. It went on for a week before I got pissed, so I asked the driver who actually delivered my stuff what was going on. He said that it was another driver handling the 3 days, and that I should just call Fedex to have him deliver every day instead. Spent a good hour on the phone with Fedex and commended the good driver, and they finally gave in and let him deliver my packages every day. Not sure why they split drivers, but i'm glad I got all my packages when I was supposed to afterwards.

Even more unusual was that was a NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED package:mad:
All he had to do was leave it at the door. Just got off the phone with them, they are investigating.

We had a UPS driver refuse to deliver packages to our old house. He'd drive to the end of the dead end street, turn around, not stop and then about 20 minutes later tracking showed that delivery was 'attempted'. This went on for months with dozens of packages. They'd usually be delivered the next day by a different driver.

Finally recorded this happening which also happened to be the day the driver decided to use the side of my house as his own personal fire hydrant/porta potty. Immediately took the video to the UPS warehouse and demanded to speak to a manager. Took forever and a year to get someone willing to talk to me in person but they finally did. Never had a problem after that (and never saw this driver again).

Sounds like a driver issue, not a Fedex issue.

Aren't FedEx Ground services a separate private business?
I know of one person who sold his FedEx ground business. No sure if the truck/s was/were his.
