No, he’s saying that it’s dangerous to attack women who can defend themselves, not that it is ok attack a woman who is not in a position to defend herself, even though you could get away with it.

I got the "its dangerous" part but he stops there. The inference is that you should only show restraint when there is a risk of retribution.

What if you and your girlfriend or wife or mother or daughter had some random dude grab their butt? No, that's a pretty obnoxious invasion of your person and deserves what he got. It's not like she took him to the ground and kicked several teeth out.

I'd say that's one of those things that there is a difference between men and women.

Men mostly won't mind if a chick pats there rear, I would think. Women, probably have to put up with unwanted groping from the time that they are young and it never stops. I'm sure a light rub on the butt is also not where it might stop. The good news is that the guy will probably think twice before he does it again.

I have a real problem endorsing the outdated binary gender roles that are seen playing out in this video. I'm sure the "man" simply gender-identified that day as a "woman", and was helping a fellow "lady" by pulling her too short shorts down out of her ass crack.

I'd say he'd be OKcalling her out and reporting her, but at this time men cannot get away with reacting the same way.

The video is a snippet of one interaction...there is no way of knowing if this was the culmination of the guy being a jerk while she was waiting on him somewhere else in the bar prior.

I worked as a bartender for years. The crap the servers put up with from drunks in the day was unfortunate.

Used to play pool at a bar pool hall a lot. The waitresses always wore tight black skirts. One night I chalked up my hands an made two white handprints on her butt and got slapped. It was still very funny. She left the hand prints and later thanked me saying it was her biggest tip hight ever.

Reminds me of the joke about the guy with 2 black eyes. His friend asks what happened "Well, I was in church and we knelt to pray and the woman in front of me had her skirt stuck up in her ass crack. I reached and pulled it out and she slugged me".
