Just for the record, I would like to say that I started this..I was bored and painted this on the back side of my 2-car garage door. Let me know what you think either good or bad, I think that its a good use of the back of the door, and it looks awesome when its open. Also did my cabinets in the back of the garage. -Bill ![]() Last edited by Frontporsche1; 07-28-2018 at 05:47 PM.. |

Funny that you mention that, I have an E92M3 and I love it BUT....
I was going to do the following: I have this blueprint from Porsche and was going to measure my 911sc and make and exact painting to scale on my wall next to the 911 "The side view" with all of the specifics in the blueprint. I didn't do it because I am out of space in the garage and would like to have the entire wall visible i.e. Vespa's... So this is what I was going to do..

I would have gotten half of the overhead cabinets painted before I ran out of juice - you did three murals and they all look great! Good job!

Frontporsche1, I've had an idea. Print the image in miniture size onto acetate (clear stuff), mount it some way, then in the dark shine a flashlight through it against the wall. then pencil in the image on the wall, then paint. one to one scale

that's really cool! I've been thinking about doing something like that and my plan was to hook up my laptop to a projector to use for the stenciling and paint from there.
