I think most of the people I deal with are more like NYC garbage barges:(

Garbage trucks load up with the stuff people don't want, and haul it off where it gets buried and forgotten.

I always seem to step in the juice that the truck has left in a puddle....I'm usually not so happy with that !

Some people are the garbage.

I have a few friends that are mechanics for the disposal company. They said that you get used to the odor of that sauce that spills on you every day .
They make pretty good money though.

Thank you for posting that. Mrs WD is SO like the educated person Wallace describes, and I am so like the day-to-day self centered drone. We have had many, many experiences where I have been impatient or disparaging of someone and she has opened herself to then and given them some joy and affirmation- at no cost at all, just a little love. My wife is a treasure.
