Uber makes no sense. Nobody in their right mind will drive for them as it pays below minimum wage if you consider all expenses. The longer they exist the more sane people will have figured it out and only idiots will drive for them. So you end up with weirdos and druggies. I have jumped in on a few uber rides and seen enough, thank you very much.
Yes, I would call that in, to save someone from getting hurt. But not to help a crap company improve. Then don't use them anymore. G |
Personally, I would not have taken the ride and I would have reported it regardless of the company IE: Uber, Lyft, Yellow Cab.

Personally, if she was professional, polite, and drove, safe .Id say she did a good job, and let it roll. Not my job to police the world.
Would you report her if she drank cough syrup ? took a no doze, hyped up on 4 cups of coffee? Not all pot users take hits from the bong till they see tye dye colors . |
Kids are not very bright these days... you can vape to get the same effect without the smell.
Back in the day I carried a pack of cigarettes, after partaking I would fire one up to cover the smell. I wouldn't call it in, if it really bothered you why did you get in the car and let her drive? 1990 - "Don't get in a strangers car!" 2018 - Literally summon a stranger and get in their car. |
I would have reported it.

Smoking weed in WA is legal. What is not is driving under the influence. I'm pretty progressive when it comes to social issues but lines need to be drawn. In this case I would have gotten out of the car and reported her right away.
As yourself this. If some dude picked you up while finishing up a can of Colt45, would you have treated the situation differently? |
