for leveling out the ground.
the bucket on the tractor I borrowed had a long hole across the bottom from using it to level the ground. |
So, a bit of a tease:
New MF 1739 with bucket and finishing mower (I kept my bush hog). With trade in (a 1970 MF 240) out the door for under 20K. I honestly needed the tax write off. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1535312297.JPG Back hoe next year. It really came down to hydro static transmission, bucket size and logisitics (I have other, smaller MF machines and the dealer is great). More to follow. I spent three hours on it today and am very impressed...it is not a "tractor/tractor" but is perfect for my needs. |
really loving mine.
it may be small compared to most out there but it is perfect for me and my needs. been trying to figure out the boxblade. leveling/grading the ground after putting in my septic pipe. now grading my "parking" area for when I put down coquina rock. also going to do the driveway. I created a low spot and had a hard time filling it back in. |

Once yo go hydrostatic... I machine hire all the big stuff on the farm so I didn't need it sitting. Quote:
I have a lot of ditch work that needs to be done so the backhoe will be attached in the Spring. Your tractor was the inspiration for mine so you owe me:) |
