carb problem on my 82 Honda Urban Express
I am having a problem with my 82 honda urban express carb. Mikuni style.
When throttle opens it lifts high enough to come off of the location slot, which lets it turn and get stuck open.

IN your drawing the oil injector slot on every slide carb I've worked on has a locator pin that sticks out into it from the carb slide hole. That keeps it from rotating. See if yours is missing?

Either you cap is not screwed down all the way and/or your cable adjustment doesn't have enough slack.....Is the gasket in place inside the cap?
What the drawing shows at the "Oil injection Slot" is actually a locating pin to keep you slidie centered. It keeps the "cut-out" centered in the air intake side of the carb body bore.
