Yes, that's a Dino with flared fenders added to accommodate the optional 7½" Campagnola rims. When combined with Daytona-style seats, this became knows as the "Chairs & Flares" version of the 246 GT.

My dream car. And I'd have one in yellow.
I thought so...thanks.

Drove a totally reconditioned Dino at Los Gatos Ferrari many years ago(early '80s?). Rebuilt motor, new leather interior, new paint....etc.
They wanted $36,000...and my business was just getting off the ground...I needed capital equipment and not a Dino.
That was painful. Nightmares ever since.

Mine too...and I like the styling of the coupe much more than the Targa-top spyder. This is one automobile that's definitely stood the test of time. If Ferrari were producing this design today, I think that it would still draw as much attention as any contemporary GT car.

Remember this one? Dug up in L.A. back in 1978.

I do remember that...faintly.
I prefer the coupe, as well.
The boys at Ferrari of Los Gatos (CA) told me that because the Dino was a lower priced Ferrari, most owners trashed them or were negligent with maintenance.
.
Kick thyself in the ass.
