Dielectric grease on pin connectors

I've used this on battery posts/connectors and it works great but often wondered if it was suitable for multi prong pin connectors. My concern was too much grease and cross current from prong to prong. Is that possible/probable?
What do you think?

Dialectic does not conduct.

You'll have a bigger worry about it preventing conduction if you goop it on the pins.

There is a better solution to the battery post corrosion problem but suffice to say that the posts should be acetone clean. I use dielectric on almost all connections that are exposed, e.g., outside the cabin or interior of the trunk, etc.

I have done this and then had to spend time with pipe cleaners and a can of contact cleaner getting the goo out of the connector. :o

yes of course best practices is to use a bit of dielectric grease on most electrical connectors, though usually not strictly required.
