MRM knows his stuff, but my experience (and everyone else I know) has been...healthy neighbor's tree, "act of god", falls on your property, his insurance does NOT pay...your homeowners will pay (his tree or yours), for hitting your insured structure, including removal. Tree doesn't hit anything, it's you. This would only be covered by truck ins....

Im pretty sure you are correct KC. My insurance company has basically told me the same thing . I've already located some parts. I was not going to go this deep with this truck, but ....

Once a tree fell from my dad's lot over a wall (damage there) and into the neighbor's pool. His insurance covered it but they told him that if it had fallen on his side, no coverage. You may have a claim if your neighbor cooperates.
