Whats wrong with Pelican?

For the last few months, every time I log in to PP, I have to do it twice.
I type in my login info, it acts like its logging in, and then it goes back to the same screen like its not logged in. no error or message, it just doesn't work.
then I do it again, and it works. this is on many computers I have used, and happens without fail.
anyone else?

Are you using your NSA-supplied credentials?

No problem. Note that it does it in both IE and Opera. Those are the only browsers I have on my current work computer.

I don't have login issues, but sometimes when I click on my bookmark pointed to forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-discussions/it brings me to Porsche Discussion Forum and Do-it-Yourself Technical Advice for your Air-Cooled 911, Water-Cooled 996/997, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne and More - Welcome to the Pelican Parts Forum!

and I have to look for the OT forum. Only happens ever now and then.

We updated some of the links, so old bookmarked pages may lead you to somewhere else.

Lol my iPhone is always logged in and my laptops make me log in every time

My recent experience with needing to log in every time started maybe 6 weeks ago, My laptop, iPhone and Android phone are always logged in, but my ipad makes me log in every time I open the PP page.

There is definitely something wrong. For the last 3-4 months when I get a notification email I have to open Classifieds via bookmark bar first. Doing this automatically logs me in. Then I can click on the link in email for Classifieds, Technical or OT. My log in will time-out at some point.

FWIW, I noticed today the page is loading fully right away - instead of dragging on almost endlessly previously.

Whatever you guys did, Dmitry - it helped!

Thanks!

I don't understand this need to log in....

i.e.

I view the pages and if there is something interesting I feel like contributing to, I log in and post, when I'm done posting I log out...I made this post, and I made another post about a WRX.... and Im out....

I *think* we had some issue with the forum software and switching between using http / https. Hopefully we've got this sorted now!

I'm still having problems on my PC laptop. I've cleared the cache and still had issues.

No issue on iPad tho

Please also let them know that it's not working properly with Tapatalk. It's not saving read history between sessions.
