Anyone else having trouble w this site?
It's logging me off every time I leave it or walk away from the computer. Just started today. No problem logging back in but what a PIA. :(
|
Click the little "remember me?" box.
(next to the loggin fields) Not sure what it does...but my browser doesn't get logged off after inactivity, and then I would have to re-type name/password again every 15 minutes or so. Firefox started randomly crashing many times daily and youtube download apps wouldn't work because I refused to download versions above v.57. They sabotaged their own browser and (free) customers to force upgrade. Not happy with Firefox these days |
Does the same thing to me, on all my devices. I used to always be logged in . Ill try checking that box

Before you log in, Be sure the address bar has https:// before the www. If its not there your browser thinks its an insecure site.
|
The main Pelican page has the https but when you click on forums the "s" disappears.
|
You need type it in before you log in.

Hey guys, we're aware of it and are trying to work through a few issues at a time (without crippling the forum in the process). In a nutshell, we have to trick some outdated VBulletin software into being https friendly.
I experience the exact same problems as you do, so trust me when I say that this isn't being overlooked. Thank you for being patient while we sort this out! -Chris |
I notice in the address bar, it says - "Not Secure".
Anyone else see that? |
If you're seeing that, give this a shot instead: https://forums.pelicanparts.com/

Thanks Chris. |
Maybe it is the browser you are using. I use 3 different laptops and 3 different OS. With Windows 7 I use Firefox, XP I use Avast and with Linux I use Palemoon. I stay logged in on all 3.
