An employee there explained to me that they have to pick for the online orders. It actually keeps them very busy.

I tend to be lazy, so I work harder and build things that save me from working too hard. I build massive spreadsheets with as few touch points as needed. It prevents mistakes and updates a breeze.

I find it easier to do the job right from the beginning, than to explain later why I didn't. Other people work harder than me, produce more, and have more mistakes.

It's a tough balance being too anal and being able to keep up with the work load, but I believe I would spend more time in rework than doing it my own way.
