GTS Vallelunga seats???

I kinda like the look of these, not vintage, not modern, kinda splits the difference which I think fits well with my impact car.

Wondering if anyone has these seats? I want to get a good idea of of the fit and feel.
I currently have Porsche script Sport seats that are great, but I like the idea of a color matched back and losing a bunch of lbs.

Vallelunga
Vallelunga Car Seats - Vallelunga Seats

Quote:
Very low weight of 17.5 lbs. Fits more drivers and also accommodates taller drivers due to a lowered seating position with our duralastic belt system for added comfort. We offer additional adjustable lumbar support. Seat padding is decreased as to accommodate a snugger fit. Available in configuration with Nomex fabric for the seat covers and a shiny custom colored gel coat for the back. Also available in any custom choice, plaid, leather or houndstooth. The seat pictured is made in Alcantara and Martini design.

The image for leather isn't showing up for me, is the image below the same?

For sure has a less modern look than a Recaro SPG or other more modern seat.

From what I've been reading it's best to sit in a seat prior to purchasing.

EDIT-1:

Found this post in the forum.......................................

Time to pick new seats, need suggestions

We have made our seats conform with PCA SCCA rules and with our trips device comply to the harness rules, even on the fiberglass seats.
FYI: GTS has a Facebook page it looks like.

These seats are on my shortlist as well.

I got a chance to sit in some at the Hershey swap meet, only for a minute, but in that time they felt very comfortable. The car was one of Lee Keen's safari cars which the owner has driven on a cross-country trip in the seats and had no complaints at all.

I'm 5'10" and weigh 180lbs just for reference.

I'm hoping Stephan is at Rennsport again this year so I can give them another try.

Yea, I will have to sit in them to make sure the fit well and feel right... not easy to find them to sit in though...

I was thinking about doing orange accents in my car, when I saw these with the orange hard back.

FYI: I think the Vallelunga seats have many of the same design clues as what Singer is using in their latest creation.

I guess Singer liked them too but thought they needed more holes.

That is why I like them, though the stinger seats have much nicer and more disciplined line work and tighter surfaces.

I'd have to sit in them, they look a bit inelegant and funky compared to a full leather Recaro SPG, but certainly more period correct.

I guess that's why I like that modern style seat with insert covered in reto houndstooth cloth, a fusion of both worlds but perhaps not as convincing.
