My fingers are all over it all the time, but only on the tops of the keys not the (dusty) sides... :)

At least you had a granola bar to soak it up.

billybek 09-26-2018 05:38 PM

Shouldn't that be 26 oz?
Stealth metric conversion down south?

Had a similar tragedy here recently when my Glenlivet 15 went down.
Another Glen came to the house today to take its place. Glenfiddich 12. Not quite as nice but it'll do...

What no back up?

MBAtarga 09-26-2018 05:56 PM

You must not be a prepper. If you were a good planner, you'd have a spare available for when that one went empty.

It was a thank-you gift for fixing a guys laptop and rescuing 230gb of mp3 files :D

When I buy for myself, it is often Jim Beam or Wild Turkey... really liked Willy Nelson's Old Whiskey River, but NLA for me locally...

Not a heavy drinker, just the end of the best bottle of liquor I've tasted...

That's how it starts my friend.

Attaboy! :D

Sometimes a really beautiful relationship ends.

Ends for no other reason other than the bottle is empty and a trip to the bottle store is in order.

DanielDudley 09-27-2018 02:01 AM

Ain't that a shot to the head.

That Woodford is good stuff, I had a bottle of their Rye and loved it. You can never go wrogn with Woodford. If you want more of a budget minded Whiskey try Elijah Craig about $35 a bottle and very good. Eagle Rare is another one that is lower priced and really good.

This was a sad day for me. This was from Thanksgiving last year. My older son and I polished off the bottle.

I have another bottle of 21 that is still 80% it only gets tapped into for very special occasions now.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! The horror! That's the stuff nightmares are made of.

onewhippedpuppy 09-27-2018 06:24 AM

That's bad news. I like Woodford, but tend to buy Buffalo Trace more often. Cheaper and better tasting.

CurtEgerer 09-27-2018 08:12 AM

I'm sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family.

rfuerst911sc 09-28-2018 04:42 AM

It would appear your min/max reorder point is kaput ! :D

I no longer save my special whiskies. Life is too short, and I’ve reached the age where they are the go to gift to me from everyone I know . . .
