Hell of a long read...and well worth the time spent.

holy frak, that's long.

and the more I read, really fraked up. The guys that worked on the conviction need to be punished for the way they went about things.

masraum 10-04-2018 07:46 PM

The guy that did it was found guilty of her murder.

The prosecutor was also found guilty of a felony

No one would take him. Until now. It seems Bradley has landed another prosecutor's post. Not in Texas. Not in the United States. In the tiny Republic of Palau, where, according to several sources, Bradley has accepted a position in the attorney general's office.

The former U.S. territory of about 20,000 people in Micronesia was granted independence in 1994, and now operates in "free association" with the United States.

The Sheriff (Boutwell?) died of lymphatic cancer not too many year after Morton was convicted, so he wasn't around to see the end.

Almost 10000 days falsely imprisoned.
What a fricking nightmare.
Thanks for the link to the story.
