The altar i pray to...

The shrine i set up in a corner of my living room in the old firehouse i recently moved into:

Top to bottom:

Beretta 1200 (shares the action of the legendary Benelli M1 Super90)
Heckler and Koch P7 PSP with custom picitanny rail
Ruger LCP with Crimson trace Laserguard
Bushmaster XM-15E2S with extensive modifications

Thank God for the 2nd Amendment.

cool spoons, weird lay out.

Why did you put the two handspoons so close right after another??
And then the position of the clips??
And the gas mask? for when you had chili??

And where is the Cold Steel katana?

Don't you have grab guns hidden throughout the house?

I have more weapons throughout my house than you can possibly imagine Rick.

Geronimo the handspoons are on a magnetic strip, all i have to do is grab and pull to release them. The size of the strip dictates how close they are together. The gas mask actually belongs to a girl im dating, she brought it over cause she thought it complimented the spoons nicely. You can also see my 2 class IIIA vests hanging off to the left of the spoons as well.

The 'hatchet' is a tomahawk, there is another one opposing that one under the longhorn as well.

You can also see my native american spear to the right of the spoons.

ckissick...GREAT comment!

That's what she's telling you, Snipe. It really is because of the chili...

Are they all loaded, Snipe?
Or ready to quickly load?

If you really must know, she's a pot head, it's drug paraphenalia in her world. In my world, it's for using against stinky zombies.

Hmmm, i've previously been told it should hang. I love conflicting advice...

So, some research i just did:

The USAF's views on the subject:

"Another initiative that security forces have taken was to build racks for their body armor.

“They’re just simple crosses on a frame,” Captain Robinson said. “Nothing fancy, just a good place to hang the vests so they don’t get damaged.”

Captain Robinson and Sergeant Strange recommend Airmen hang vests on the back of a chair or on a strong hook, or set it flat on a sturdy surface when it is not being worn if racks are not available.

Proper handling, storage and periodic inspections are the key to making sure that body armor does its job when needed, Captain Robinson said."

From Policemag.com:

Storing Your Vest

When storing your vest, lay it flat (the best way to store it) or hang it upside down from the bottom of the carrier. "Hanging vests from their straps stretches out the elastic prematurely," Olsen cautions.

Don't lay the vest out or attempt to dry it in direct sunlight.

Don't hang the vest in such a way that it can stretch the shoulder straps.

Don't fold your vest or lay it on its side in a locker or car trunk.

Don't lay heavy objects on the vest. Th is will cause creasing of the ballistic package.

I have steel entry doors, steel garage doors(and a 2 ambulance bay as my first floor!), an all inclusive alarm system, and a four camera video surveillance system whose monitor i placed directly under my flatscreen TV. (I can see an overhead view of my 928 in the garage 24/7 as i sit and watch TV!!! )

Anyone that tries to break in here is likely to find themselves in a scene akin to a Quentin Torrantino movie. If they're REALLY lucky, at some point i will call the cops. Maybe.

Once i get it a bit more sorted im gonna post some pix. I roll up to the bldg, hit a button and my steel garage door opens up to a huge bay which is my first floor. Steps in the back of the garage lead up into the apt, the entire place is under continuous video surveillance.

For a nut like me, this place is beyond perfect...my very own bat cave.

Sadly, the pole is gone, the last owner took it out for some reason that mankind will never fully understand.

LOL, i'll have to get right on that...hehe.

Honestly, what i really want to hang up there is a nice looking Fender Strat or Flying V clone.

Sometimes, if you wish for it hard enough, Parf comes to you.
