It's almost as if you're challenging someone to post something that tops it.

sammyg2 10-19-2018 08:23 AM

pretty sure that's a crime.

But at least it's not made of paper mache.

ironically, this is the just like what Benihana did to Japanese food.

Seahawk 10-19-2018 08:31 AM

That is a car in search of a tree...

tctnd 10-19-2018 08:36 AM

Well, they tried, but it still isn't as fugly as an Aztec.

Porsche-O-Phile 10-19-2018 08:42 AM

Nothing that a volcano can’t fix

GH85Carrera 10-19-2018 08:54 AM

Burn it, burn it with fire (or maybe a volcano)

It took (2) 1973 Porsche 911 Targa's to create this car.
A double tragedy, two cars wasted.

959 look Targa limo........................the thing nobody wanted, and yet it exists.

Man V's nature, which can do worse to a Porsche?

Zeke 10-19-2018 09:00 AM

Hey, it's a 959! Can't overlook that. And perfect for a V8 conversion.

(I wonder what they did for frame rails.)

fastfredracing 10-19-2018 09:06 AM

I can just picture 2 dudes wearing red michael jackson jackets, and parachute pants , listening to cheesy 80's music, doing big fat rails off the work bench, in some dirty garage in jersey, while all the fabrication was happening .
There were some real crimes against humanity, and all that is sacred committed in the 80's

And yet a very similar project CAN be done in style and taste....

More at https://flatsixes.com/tag/porsche-356-limo/ and there have been a few pelican threads in various forums, as well as 356talk, rennlist, etc. and so on.

What is sad about that pic is that if the car was in a roll over accident, etc. at least SOME parts would be usable - engine, trans, etc.

But if that is from a hurricane smackin' into things and spraying ocean water everywhere, etc. there won't be anything salvageable by the time the car can be gotten to a place it can get parted out

They say there is an ass for every seat. No way I want to contemplate what the ass in question for the car in the original post is like.

RSBob 10-19-2018 05:09 PM

I want the wheels. Refinished they could be kuhl. Also the wing windows. The rest can go to the crusher.

A930Rocket 10-19-2018 05:45 PM

It’s worth it for the shift knob alone...
