Cruise from Ft Lauderdale, looking for Hotel recommendations
Looking to cruise in Dec. Anyone know that area and can recommend an inexpensive Hotel? I don't mean cheep...
Also looking for info on how to best get from the airport to the hotel and then to the cruise terminal. Is this a cab friendly place? Should I just plan to Uber? We're not going to be pressed for time coming in or going out. Thanks

Assuming you are flying into FLL. There is a Sheraton right off airport tjat supplies a shuttle to and from
The cruise terminal is in Port Everglades IIRC, which is adjacent to airport as well. If you search for hotels there are quite a few near the port and airport prices range from $95 to $150 a night for Hilton, Marriot or Sheraton type hotels. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

How much time in hotel? Will you have time to wander? Lauderdale by the Sea is about 7 miles north of the terminals along SeaBreeze Blvd. There are plenty of hotels along the route. Lauderdale by the Sea has a pretty cool mix of restaurants, live entertainment, touristy stores, bars and the ocean is right there too.
We ate a nice Vietnamese place right on commercial Blvd. There were tons of options and lots going on, it is very pedestrian friendly and taxi / uber is very abundant.

Jim, it'll be the one night before we disembark, and two nights on our way home. Bob suggested https://www.beachcomberresort.com/ which fits right in with Lauderdale by the Sea
