Got the unofficial phone call
 

So while I've been happy in my job for 20 years and love my 2 closest coworkers to death, and most of my other department members too, I applied for a new job in a different department. Several reasons, money being a big one, and 2 members in our dept. who have totally destroyed the happy fun environment we had.

So I got an unofficial phone call today about making transition plans, since about 25% of my time is spent doing only stuff that I can do in the dept all centered around programming.

Still has to go to HR and we still have to negotiate salary but a transition plan is beginning.
