The BLANK BOX
https://www.theblankbox.com
I know what I'm getting myself for "package season!!!!" Not as awesome as the exploding poop box but pretty fun. Package theft is a huge problem in our neighborhood. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Sv2h-csnlps" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
That's great!! Need more ideas. I think dye shooting out would be about right. Sorta like the dye used in bundles of 100's.

Geez....they even stole the dude's fence!
|
Can they make it more like an IED?
|
needs more electricity and a train horn.
|
Amazon should sell bee hives.
|
There is a video out there (too lazy to search) where the guy filled the box with *****, and it exploded 30 sec. after it was picked up. In the video you see it go off in the car as the thief drives off with it. Those are the ones that need to be sold!

If you do something that gets the perps dirty like dye or poop you are just asking for some sort of vandalism retaliation.
|
If you do something that puts something of value on your property like an Amazon box or garden gnome you are just asking for some sort of theft.
 |
how about a live Cobra?

Are they in cahoots with the thieves? Because of this, I'm looking for an alternative to Amazon. eBay seems to be better than before for new goods. I'm buying more there now and none of it is delivered poorly like the Amazon zombies do it. WalMart seems to be coming on fast. I haven't used WM except a couple times, so a learning curve is there. |

I just got back from a week vacation there has been a package on my front porch for almost a week.
No one touched it. I was out in the Hill Country West of Austin Texas, I left the key to my rental car in the car pretty much every night I was there, and barely bothered to lock our doors to the house we were in. I cannot imagine living in an area where people are constantly stealing from one another. It would mess my head up. The package was some boyscout popcorn, which was chocolate coated and melted on my porch. Despite that it was still yummy. :D https://photos.smugmug.com/General-P...W5pJmj6-XL.png |
I worked at a bank that was robbed. Morons ran to their car in the parking lot with six dye packs wrapped in bait money from various teller stations. The dye packs went off like popcorn inside the get-away car just as the police pulled up to watch. I'm sure they still had blue ink on themselves when they got in front of the judge. Car was prolly totaled.

In light of that, it's always best to rig something that will only activate when they actually open the package. Hopefully they have made it home by then. It should detonate violently enough to kill them and anyone that is anywhere near them, leveling at least the building they are in, if not the entire block. After all, we can be relatively certain their entire neighborhood is like that. |

Packages, tools, bikes, etc. outside seem to stay where I live....I'm actually quite shocked. But I don't tempt them...lots of "casers"... Claymores? |
Long story. Here is brief account.
My dad worked with a guy who lived in the old neighborhood. He had bettered himself and was somewhat comfortable. In contrast to his neighbors, who were poor. He liked to fish. He also hated to have his stuff ripped off. He caught a sturgeon and had a LARGE amount of fish waste. They are big fish. He wrapped the guts into a box with some wrapping paper and placed it in the back of his pickup. Then he went to the local store and "shopped." You can guess the results. |
I once watched my father and my neighbour down 24 beers with the sole purpose of refilling them with the waste product to recap them and place the now recycled 24 beers on the porch, in the hopes the same lads that stole their previous 24 did so again. It was stolen in short order, to what result I do not know lol.
